Sydney's love affair with Japanese Nama Donuts is getting a little bigger, a lot fluffier and considerably more playful.
SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA — 30 October 2026: Osaka DonutLab is bringing more of its signature Osaka energy to Sydney with the official opening of its third location at 20 Goulburn Street, near Chinatown, on Friday 30 October 2026.
Following its Chippendale and Burwood Chinatown locations, Osaka DonutLab continues to expand its playful interpretation of contemporary Japanese café culture, with its signature soft, fluffy Nama Donuts taking centre stage.
And this isn't going to be an ordinary opening weekend.
Three Days of Donuts, Cosplay and Osaka Energy!
From Friday 30 October to Sunday 1 November, Osaka DonutLab is celebrating its newest location with a special opening offer:

The offer is available to the first 100 eligible customers each day, while stocks last.
Adding to the excitement, two colourful, anime-inspired cosplay promoters will bring a taste of Osaka's playful street culture to Goulburn Street.
Expect energetic characters, plenty of photo opportunities and the iconic Osaka DonutLab Blue Box making its way into Sydney's social feeds.

For its first two weeks, the new Goulburn Street location will focus exclusively on Osaka DonutLab's signature Nama Donuts.
The new location is also planned to introduce more of the Japanese café experience that customers enjoy at Chippendale, including comforting Omurice and fluffy Osaka Pancakes.
Further menu announcements will follow as the Goulburn Street café expands its offering.
With trading hours from 10am to 10pm, seven days a week, the new location will give Sydneysiders plenty of opportunities to discover their next favourite Osaka treat.
